Portland, Maine in the Fall.

With an old Jetblue Credit, a desire to see more of America and a flash flight Sale a trip to Portland, Maine was booked over the Summer.

Until the week prior, I hadn’t researched Maine and was ready to wing this trip. Luckily, Portland is small, accessible, and an easy place to travel. It’s the perfect trip for anyone who doesn’t have time to preplan a detailed trip. It’s an easy city to navigate, where you’re spoilt for choice of food, and my favorite moments were walking/exploring the streets in search of coffee shops.

I also received a few lists from friends of their Maine hotspots, which set me in the right direction. If you’re considering a trip to Maine - I caught the very last weekend of the peak foliage and it was stunning. A perfect balance of Fall without crazy crowds.
